How to add a newsletter signup box on your Facebook Timeline

October 2, 2013

Want to get more people to sign up for your e-newsletter while they are visiting your Facebook Timeline page? There’s a simple way to do it and in the video below, I’ll show you how.

Wasn’t that easy? I’d love to know if you were able to follow the steps and add your own newsletter optin box on your own Facebook Timeline page. Just leave a comment below with the link where it appears.

That was simple! I did it! (and the best part is it was actually on my to-do list today) Thank you!

Funny enough, I got two signups within five minutes of adding this to my FB page!

HI thank you for this video, may I know where you found the html code from though? I use mailchimp and can’t find any information about how to get any kind of html code from them for this? thank you

I was doing fine until I got to the html code part. I have no clue how to find the code for my website’s sign-up widget (it’s a template-based site which does not show me what the actual code is). Too bad, I was really hoping to able to add this tab to my FB Page. :-(

Anastasia, who do you use for your email service provider? You should be able to get it directly from there

I don’t know what html code to use either. Do I use the one from feedburner that I used to add a subscribe box to my blog or do I use a code from gmail which is where I get my email directed to? I don’t use mailchimp. Also, in your video it shows that when you click on the edit tab I see that you already have some html there where you highlight the first block. I don’t have any html showing at all when I get to that point.

Help me?

Cheryl

Cheryl, what do you use to collect email addresses for your email list (outside of feedburner)? That’s where you would get your code from.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! It WAS easy with your help!
