How coincidental….I just created my first Youtube video.
Talk about a real challange out of my comfort zone.
I can honestly say I feel more empowered to do more of these…they were actually fun even though I am not an expert.

How fun! Congrats on your first video :) Here’s to many more!!!!

I actually caught you on both the Creative Live and the Superhero Summit. Great content, great performance.
I’m actually ahead of the challenge (maybe I saw it coming) I’m in the middle of installing affiliate software for my book and future products and it’s been a frustrating challenge. Still, I inch forward everyday which is part of growth. Thanks for everything you do Andreea. You’re appreciated.

Thanks so much, Dorian! That’s great to hear about being ahead of the challenge. Keep us posted!

I contacted a supplier with what I felt were a lot of embarrassingly novice questions about equipment for a jewelry process I was unfamiliar with.

Next I’m going to make a video & actually publish my crowdfunding pitch.

Sounds great, Lisa! Keep us posted!

Hi Andreea After I watched this video I followed up on a private label package I sent to Hippocrates Health Institute. The Store Manager is interested and has to run it by the co-director next week, but I am hopeful. Thanks for the motivation to do what I needed to do!

Amazing, Janet!!!! So excited for you! Please keep me posted :)

I will be sending sample note card sets to event planners in my area as a way to open up discussions about being a preferred vendor. I want to send the note cards then invite them to meet me with, maybe buy them coffee somewhere locally and begin a working relationship. I’ve been putting off meeting with people for a long time now b/c its so hard putting yourself out there for fear of rejection. But Im going to be working on that this week and next.

that sounds great, Diana!!!!! good luck and do let me know how it goes.

Hi Andreea,

I think I did mine last week. Deciding to be a student in your Publicity seminar at creativeLIVE and be on camera was pretty far out of my comfort zone. But I am so glad that I did it. I learned a lot and met many new people and gained some confidence.

Thanks,
Dorothy

Nice to see you here, Dorothy! I agree!!!!

Ok so I really gave this some thought Andreea. I’m a total extravert and takes a lot to get me out of my comfort zone. However, I’ve been giving this some thought and I think one thing that always makes me feel uncomfortable is putting myself out there acknowledging something I’ve achieved. I immediately think there will be haters out there thinking I am showing off. I tell everyone to celebrate their wins (Big or Small) and yet, I have a hard time doing that myself. I’d rather poke fun of myself or praise others. I think this would be hard, out of my comfort zone, and good I guess. What do you think? I’m I a weirdo or totally normal? :)

Raquel, I can totally relate to this! I’ve started celebrating my successes – I never used to. I always used to think, “ok that was great, what’s next?” instead of really celebrating each time I achieved something. I think this is a good challenge for you!

Thank you Andreea. I think that is such a simple yet profound statement. Instead of asking “what’s next?” I need to pause and celebrate the wins along the way (big or small). I’m thankful for CreativeLive for introducing you to me :)

Wow, that is a tremendous challenge you put yourself through. No doubt that you could do it, but I didn’t realize how long it was. Amazing!

yes, it was pretty intense!

Mine is a very simple challenge but something which keeps not getting done. I need a one page bio about me and my creative process. Something which I can not manage to write and be pleased with.It just keeps going thru the back of my head once I send this out to the stores that have requested it that I have committed to what I put to paper.

Thanks to your encouragement and challenge, I have broken out of my comfort zone in asking friends or acquaintances for help regarding my business. I have started dialogue with one of the most successful executives in the infomercial and product development business. Normally I would have been too intimidated to approach him (even though we have several mutual friends and I have been formally introduced to him a couple of times) but my sister told me to approach him with the confidence of “Amazing Ashley” after listening to one of your seminars.

Additionally, I had noticed a few months ago that a person I know (fellow board member of a charitable organization) was “connected” on Linkedin to the CEO of a Florida based department store. Typically, I would not want to bother him or ask for an introduction, but after being challenged to step out of my comfort zone, I decided to give it a try. Not only did he give me an introduction via email, but the CEO responded the same day with the information I needed to contact the head merchandiser. I left a voicemail and sent an email this morning and am waiting with fingers crossed :)
