Can you tell me how it would work with a blogger who does reviews and giveaways? How can Linkedin help a blogger be seen or how they can gain new products to review and giveaway?

Thanks for the tips, Andreea! I just added my business recently recently to LinkedIn really just because I realized I needed to update my profile. It had not occurred to me to use it to join a group on it for my business, and I actually just joined the handmade jewelry group you suggested.

I have been using Linkedin for help in Marketing. I e-mailed a marketing person from Chicago Magazine and she actually returned my e-mail and forwarded me to someone who could help me and he returned my e-mail same day! Thank You

If you see the editor of Oprah – and do not know her, should you just request to add them anyway?
Is it okay to ask them what is the best way to contact them for a pitch? Wondering about netiquette here. Thanks!

Yes, you can definitely request them, but it’s your job to find out how to contact them. They most likely will not respond with that info. But it’s safe to say that most prefer to be contacted via email.
