If you’re an entrepreneur with a product line, you know that getting magazines (especially top magazines) to write about your products can result in more traffic to your website and sales for your products. But did you know that magazines work about 3-6 months in advance of their issue publication date?
That means that if you want to get your products featured in a magazine’s December Holiday Gift Guide issue, you’ll have to pitch as early as July. Keeping track of lead times can be confusing, especially when you have so many other things to do as an entrepreneur.
